Project Objective
The objective of the Nuvida Aquaponics project was to execute a comprehensive brand development initiative for a local aquaponics group, building the brand's identity and key assets from the ground up. I played a pivotal role in naming the company and establishing its visual presence. The goal was to deliver a fully developed brand package that provides Nuvida with a cohesive, professional, and memorable presence, ensuring consistency across all future communications and materials, from digital platforms to branded stationery and business cards.
Design Strategy
The design strategy focused on translating the company's commitment to aquaponics into a clean, organic, and professional visual system. For the Logo Variants, the main icon features a stylized, continuous loop graphic that subtly combines elements of both a fish and a plant, perfectly encapsulating the synergy of aquaponics. The Brand Typeface, Fenwick, was chosen for its legibility and modern yet approachable feel. Finally, the Brand Colors utilize a palette of muted blues and various shades of green, such as Moss, Olive, and Sky Blue, to evoke a sense of nature, freshness, and environmental sustainability, which is reinforced across the app interface and branded deliverables.
